Nursing, Master of Science (M.S.)
- A student may not proceed in the program with a GPA of less than 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or with a grade of less than B in any nursing course. In exceptional circumstances, an appeal for progression may be made to the Master’s Program Committee. Students earning less than a C are referred to the section on “Course Grades of C” in the School of Nursing Policy and Information Handbook (http://www.nursing.vcu.edu/handbook/index.html).
- An adviser for each student is appointed by the department chair. That adviser will assist the student in enacting strategies for academic success and considering career options.
