Psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner
The psychiatric-mental health concentration prepares graduates for roles as nurse practitioners in psychiatric-mental health nursing. The program of study focuses on psychopharmacologic and psychotherapeutic management and treatment of common mental health problems and psychiatric disorders seen across the lifespan. The curriculum is designed with an emphasis on content requisite for certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
