The overall objective of the Master of Science in Nurse Anesthesia program is to prepare graduates who have acquired knowledge, skills and competencies in patient safety, perianesthetic management, critical thinking and communication to fulfill their professional responsibility as certified registered nurse anesthetists.

The nurse anesthesia program is fully accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs. Graduates are eligible to take the examination for certification conducted by the Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists.
