This year, MPLI is offering a one-day conference to promote leadership development for individuals in the Roanoke Region who are interested in assuming leadership roles on issues relevant to minority and underserved communities. The day will begin with health information and free blood pressure screening during program registration, followed by the keynote speaker, the Honorable Delegate Onzlee Ware from the 11th District, and ending with two concurrent afternoon sessions.
