Government Bailouts Poll

Should the federal government be involved in bailouts of failing financial giants such as AIG, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and Bear Stearns?

Yes. Failure of these companies could seriously and negatively impact the global financial system.
No. The government should not interfere in this way. This is an inappropriate use of taxpayer money.
Maybe. Its remains to be seen whether the government's bailouts will steady global financial markets in the long term.
