The Leigh Grosenick Award Recipient is Michael Huffman

The Leigh Grosenick Award is presented each year to a PhD student who is deemed to have written the best paper in class.

The award consists of a certificate of achievement, a small stipend and a nameplate on the Grosenick Award plaque kept in our program offices.

The award is presented to honor Leigh Grosenick who passed away in December 1999.

Dr. Grosenick was the founder and first director of the Masters of Public Administration program and the Doctor of Public Administration program at VCU.

This year's award paper, submitted in PPAD 712, is A Fantastic - Public Administration and Governance - Voyage by Michael Huffman.
